With an international education that spans from the University of Kinshasa’s Faculty of Law to legal studies in the greater Chicago area — where he earned a Political Science degree with a focus in Public Administration, followed by a Juris Doctor in Law — Maitre Mayombo stands as a bridge between worlds. His global insights, combined with a deep understanding of Congo’s democratic potential, uniquely position him to lead transformative change.
As a Certified Privacy Professional, accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), Maitre Mayombo understands the importance of ethical governance and modern policy frameworks in today’s digital and interconnected world.
Beyond the courtroom and campaign trail, Maitre Mayombo has made a lasting impact as a youth leader, mentor, and active member of the Glory House Church Praise Team, having also served at Beth Shalom Church in Masina, Kinshasa. From Kinshasa to the World — But Always for Congo
Maitre Mayombo is a distinguished legal professional with deep roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and an impactful presence on the international stage. He began his early education in the DRC, attending Ecole Primaire Djakaja (Kananga), E.P. Kibuka (Masina), Collège Bonsomi (N’Djili), Institut Bambous (Masina), and the University of Kinshasa, Faculty of Law (Mont Amba).
He later pursued higher education in the United States, in the greater Chicago area, where he earned his first degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Administration. Driven by a passion for justice and public service, he went on to earn his Juris Doctor in Law, laying the foundation for a successful and impactful legal career.
Maitre Mayombo is a Certified Privacy Professional, accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) — the world’s largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource.
Throughout his career, he has fought for justice, defended human rights, and advised clients across borders. His international legal background and deep understanding of democratic systems give him a unique advantage in crafting policies that can transform Congo’s institutions and amplify its voice on the global stage.
Beyond his legal work, Maitre Mayombo has been a committed youth leader and mentor, positively impacting the ministry and Congolese diaspora for many years. He has served as an essential member of the Glory House Church Praise Team and previously served God at Beth Shalom Church in Masina, Kinshasa.
